Strands of Time
A simple shape and a simple pattern. Knit with a traditional “fair isle” technique, the stranded knitting style can easily be handled by knitters who carry both colors in one hand and those who carry one color in each hand. Knit in the round, the knit steeks allow the knitter to work with stockinette stitch with no seams. Have no fear, take the scissors out and snip. The ragged ends won't run away and will all be covered with knit binding. The best part is no buttons and a closure that lets the vest be adjusted to fit closely to a variety of sizes.
